About the EcoBlue “Wet Belt” System
The 2.0 EcoBlue engine uses a belt-in-oil design to drive the camshaft and oil pump. Over time, oil degradation and heat can cause belt material to break down, sending debris into the sump and risking oil pickup blockage or engine damage. This kit renews every critical component and reseals the timing area with fresh hardware and sealant — restoring long-term reliability.

- Includes a new timing cover since the original cover’s mastic cannot be reused
- Renews both cam and oil-pump belts for equal service life
