Genuine Ford Oil Pump Pickup Screen & Cover, part number HG9Z6622A, for the Endura CA, Mondeo MD and Focus CG with the 2.0L EcoBlue diesel engine. Brand new, Genuine Ford, dispatched Australia-Wide.

Highly recommended when performing a wet belt replacement.

About this part

This is the Genuine Ford oil pickup (strainer screen and cover) for the oil pump on the 2.0L EcoBlue. It sits in the sump and feeds oil to the pump. When a wet belt starts breaking down, belt debris collects on this screen and starves the pump of oil, so it should be replaced whenever the wet belt is done.

When to replace it

• During any wet belt (oil pump belt or timing belt) replacement.
• Low oil pressure warning or oil pressure fault codes.
• Belt debris or sludge found in the sump.

Fitting tip

Clean the sump thoroughly, replace any seal or O-ring on the pickup, and refill with the correct Ford-spec oil.
